For the past 18 years, the Last Gadget Standing Competition has been a much-anticipated event for Consumer Electronics Show (CES) attendees. In advance of the show, judges evaluate the nominated products for innovation and broad appeal and select ten finalists. This year, Silent Circle’s newest product offering – GoSilent – has been selected as a Last Gadget Standing finalist.
Each year, there are two Last Gadget Standing winners – online and live. Online voting will take place from January 1-10, 2018. Then, on January 11, CES attendees will have an opportunity to see live demos of the product finalists and vote by applause. Past winners have included a smart watch powered by body heat, a device that creates custom designs in the foam of a latte and a wireless card for photo and video sharing, to name just a few.
GoSilent is a tiny black box that literally provides enterprise security in the palm of your hand. With this pocket-sized device, you can access the Internet anywhere on earth and stay secure. Just plug in any IP-enabled device, such as your mobile phone, tablet or PC, and then work without fear of data compromise, malware or device exploitation. With GoSilent, it’s even safe to use public WiFi.
If you’re attending CES this year, plan to attend the live event at 10:30 am on January 11 in N255 of the North Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center. If you’re not attending the show this year, be sure to vote online before midnight on January 10.
