SINET London Global Cyber Security Innovation Summit

At SINET’s Global Cyber Security Innovation Summit, Gregg Smith and Bob Ackerman speak to challenges and opportunities specific to cybersecurity start-ups.

On May 16 and 17, 2017, SINET will be hosting the Global Cyber Security Innovation Summit in London at the British Museum. Silent Circle CEO, Gregg Smith, will be speaking, along with Silent Circle Board Member and Founder and Managing Director of Allegis Capital, Bob Ackerman. Both Smith and Ackerman will be speaking as a part of the Start-Up Workshop Entrepreneur Boot Camp Track on Day 1, May 16. Ackerman will be speaking around “Funding a Start-Up,” and Smith will be speaking around “Engaging the Market.”

On Day 2, Ackerman will also be participating in another session as a panelist. The panel, “US and UK VC Panel – Cybersecurity Investment Trends and Future Funding Opportunities” will be moderated by Andre Pienaar, Founder of C5 Capital Ltd. Ackerman will be joined by Alberto Gomez, Managing Partner at Adara Ventures; Richard Seewald, Managing Partner at Evolution Equity Partners; and Will Sheldon, Investment Professional at Summit Partners, as fellow panelists. They will be speaking to challenges and opportunities specific to cybersecurity start-ups.
