Silent Circle recently announced the release the GoSilent Server, which provides an alternate deployment and additional security for GoSilent, Silent Circle’s Silent Circle’s portable integrated firewall, top secret level VPN with WiFi and threat analytics database. The GoSilent Server is the latest in high-grade security solutions developed to help enterprises and government entities protect valuable data and communications.
With the GoSilent Server, enterprises can provide secure access to data and resources that are behind their corporate firewall without becoming vulnerable to a cyberattack over the open Internet or an exposed WiFi connection. GoSilent secures a connection to the enterprise server and creates a secure “IPSec tunnel” inside the enterprise firewall, enabling users to securely send and receive data. The GoSilent Server may also be used to securely communicate with other IP-enabled devices that are deployed in the field.
GoSilent offers IT administrators granular policy controls, making it easier to enforce and comply with enterprise policies, procedures and best practices. Each GoSilent Server can support up to 25 GoSilent (client) devices and provides users with enterprise policy rules and security updates. The GoSilent Server enables organizations to maintain their own local secure data collection center onsite and integrate with existing IT solutions.
As a leader in enterprise mobile security solutions, Silent Circle offers a suite of products with top-notch granular policy controls, seamless interaction and best-in-class security features. Silent Circle’s products are used by organizations across many industries, from finance to defense, healthcare, utilities and insurance.
